• The Concept: Purple Reign

Our design for Porfura was driven by a single, vibrant idea: a celebration of all things purple. Our goal was to create a space that felt both creative and luxurious, reflecting the artistry of Porfura's stylists. Located in the bustling London Docklands, the salon's design needed to make a bold statement that would capture attention and elevate the client experience from the moment they walked in.

Our Approach: Zoned for the Client Journey

To bring the client's vision to life, we developed a layout that separates the salon into two distinct zones: 'Energy' and 'Relaxation'. This design principle was a key part of our strategy to enhance the flow of the salon and create a memorable journey for every customer.

• The Energy Zone: Vibrant shades of purple dominate this area, creating a stimulating and creative environment. We used bold lighting and modern fixtures to provide a dynamic workspace for stylists and an exciting atmosphere for clients during their hair transformation.
• The Relaxation Zone: Transitioning to the back of the salon, the colour palette shifts to a softer, more luxurious version of the purple theme. This area is designed for a calming and pampered experience, focusing on comfort and tranquility.

The Design Details: A Feast for the Eyes

Every element of Porfura's design was meticulously chosen to contribute to the overall aesthetic and function. Key features include:

• Colours and Textures: Rich, textured materials contrast with sleek, polished surfaces to create visual interest. Different shades of purple were used strategically to define spaces and create a seamless flow.
• Lighting: Layered lighting was used to enhance both the functional aspects for the stylists and the ambient mood for clients. This includes focused lighting in the styling stations and softer, mood-setting lights in the relaxation zone.
• Bespoke Features: Custom-built furniture and unique fixtures were created to perfectly fit the space and continue the purple theme, demonstrating our bespoke design capabilities.
• Brand Integration: The design subtly incorporates Porfura's branding, with a cohesive look that is both professional and personal to the salon's identity.
